Flow Alkaline Spring Water with Organic Cucumber Mint Flavor Review

I enjoyed the cucumber mint flavor of this Flow alkaline spring water that I received free from Social Nature for review purposes. It definitely feels different drinking this naturally occurring electrolytes, minerals with pH of 8.1 water. There is a bit of an aftertaste but I’m not sure if that is coming from the alkaline pH or the organic flavors. I love the plant based cap and 70% renewable material and that it’s 100% recyclable Eco-Friendly TetraPak packaging.

Natural alkaline water occurs when spring water passes over rocks, picking up minerals thus increasing alkaline levels. Normal drinking water is neutral with a pH of 7 for comparison.

There are some controversial claims, and there needs to be more studies to substantiate the claims that drinking alkalized water with pH of 8-9 can increase oxygen delivery throughout the body or that pH of 8.8 can deactivate pepsin, which is the main enzyme that causes acid reflux. Whatever your reason, this is a great option to drink natural alkaline water, rather than deionized water, which is a different process.
